2015 WGEA data launch: small steps in the right direction

This data covers more than 12,000 employers and around four million employees, and confirms again that a gender pay gap exists across industries and manager categories and that there is a concentration of women in lower-paying occupations and industries.

The data also shows some progress. For instance, women's representation in leadership roles has inched higher, gender pay gaps have decreased slightly and more employers are now taking action to support gender equality in their workplaces.
